Overnight, the facility brought a pest control company to conduct intervention, seal most of the gaps and crevices, and clean the floor kitchen and the bar area. During the time of this inspection, no live or dead cockroach was observed in the facility. Therefore, the facility is open for service. Please conduct a routine pest control inspection, store all food products or boxes of containers off the floor at least six inches off the floor, and seal all the gap on the sinks and all the wall structures. Compliance to the other major violations #7 and #9 which the restaurant was cited yesterday for improper holding and cooling of potentially hazardous foods were not verified, because no food preparation has been done in the last 24 hours.

Facility is closed due to active cockroach infestation. Facility shall remain closed until the following is completed: 1. Email the signed and completed Reopening Checklist to DEHWEB@deh.sccgov 2. Observed heavy accumulation of roach dropping above the 3-comp sink. Several dead cockroaches observed above the dishwasher and one cockroach observed near co2 tanks by the ice machine. 2. Notification: The person in charge during inspection, Roque Velasco, has been informed that the facility must close immediately. [CA]: The premises of each food facility must be maintained free of vermin. A facility cannot operate if there is a vermin infestation that leads to contamination of food contact surfaces, packaging, utensils, food equipment, or adulteration of food. The facility is required to cease operations immediately and must remain closed until all corrective actions on the provided checklist are completed. Requirements Before Reopening: 1.
