Obtain approvals from plan check prior to using the equipment. A person proposing to build or remodel a food facility shall submit plans and specifications for review and shall receive plan approval prior to starting any new construction or remodeling. Observed two new Vulcan ovens in the kitchen. Per PIC, the ovens were recently delivered and they will not me used until April. Currently, facility is only packaging pre cooked food items to deliver to schools. Facility has not submitted plan check application for approval of new equipment yet. Before constructing or altering any building for use as a food establishment, a single set of detailed plans and specifications must be submitted to the Santa Clara County Department of Environmental Health for written approval.
