    Found retail freezers with frozen foods in ROP (reduced oxygen packaging) bags. Foods are: Various Baos (Pandan, Sesame Lava, Red Bean Cream, Egg Custard, Taro, Durian, Charsiu Pork, Pork Cabbage, Vegetable, Beef, Chicken), Dumplings (Chive, Vegetable, Bok Choy Shrimp), Chive Pocket, Taro Shrimp Cake, Chicken Mochi, Chaozhou Shrimp Cake, Har Gao, Xiao Long Bao, Pork Siu Mai and Chicken Siu Mai. Observed VEVOR ROP machine in rear kitchen area. This rear kitchen has a PFR from CA Food and Drug Branch, Registration # 106810, expires 07/18/2025. However per manager, ROP is not under their oversight. [CA] - The food facility shall obtain a HACCP plan approval prior to packaging PHFs using a reduced-oxygen packaging method. [SA] - Cease and Desist using ROP for packaging foods for retail. Open bags and transger to regular bags with ties or Ziploc type bags. Obtain approval from FDB or CDPH HACCP plan if you wish to continue to ROP.
