Observed a leak at the cold water faucet handle of the hand washing sink [CA] Repair plumbing fixture and maintain in clean and good repair

The PIC was not able to provide a copy of a valid food handler card for review. [CA] Each food handler shall maintain a valid food handler card for the duration of his or her employment as food handler. A valid food handler card shall be provided within 30 days of after the date of hire.

Observed a heavy accumulation of dark grime on multiple surfaces of the food contact surfaces of the ice machine. [CA] Clean and sanitize the surfaces throughout the ice machine. [COS] The ice in the machine was discarded and the PIC cleaned and sanitized the interior of the unit.

Observed toilet paper stored outside of the dispenser. [CA] Toilet tissue shall be provided in a permanently installed dispenser at each toilet.

Observed the water turned off at the ice cream dipper wells at the start of this inspection [CA] Maintain the dipper well turned on to maintain running water of sufficient velocity to flush particulates to the drain [COS] The dipper wells were turned back on

Observed an accumulation of grime and debris throughout the cabinets behind the front service counter. [CA] Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment shall be kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris.
