A follow-up inspection was conducted to verify major violation from routine inspection conducted on 01/22/2025 is in compliance. K06: All handwash sink observed with soap and paper towels. The previous butcher room shall be converted into a vegetable prep room per manager. Ensure handwash sink is stocked with soap and paper towels. Observed freezers in the facility not properly functioning. The foods in the freezer that are blocked off will go back to the vendor per manager. Continue to work on violations noted on the last inspection report.

ROUTINE INSPECTION

The previous butcher room is currently used as a food prep area. Ensure the area is clean and handwash station is stocked with soap and paper towels. At the end of the inspection, observed the tape removed from the large freezer doors on aisle 10 allowing customers to grab the items. Instructed the employees to re-tape the doors to prevent customers from grabbing items from the freezer unit.

A limited inspection was conducted in conjunction with a complaint investigation. The freezer is not working properly at the moment. Management will not store any new product into the freezer unit and will discard any leftover product in the unit as soon as there is adequate dumpster storage space.
