FOLLOW-UP INSPECTION

Note: This is a follow-up inspection to the routine inspection that was conducted on 01/28/2026. The store's operation was partially closed due to the lack of hot water. Employees were washing utensils on the warewash sink without any sanitizer. During today's follow-up inspection, a hot water supply was restored to all the meat, seafood, and produce working station. Therefore, all the open food preparation services may be open. However, due to the above repeated major violations, the conditional pass status shall remain place until the next follow-up inspection. This follow-up inspection shall be conducted free of charge. However, any subsequent follow-up inspection after first follow-up shall be billed $298/hour, minimum one hour, during normal business hours (Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM), and $645 for the first 2 hours, thereafter $298 each additional hour, during non-business hours, and upon inspector availability.

Note: 1. Food safety manager certificate is expired. 2. The store has a fish tank, but no HACCP plan. Please create a HACCP plan to monitor the safety and operation of the fish tank. 3. There is no hot water service in the whole store. Therefore,, the food preparation including the meat, fish, and produce cut and processing departments must cease and desist operation. Open fish product service is also suspended. A facility found to be in continued operation without a permit may incur a penalty of three (3) times the operating permit fee, and fee(s) for re-inspection(s) charged at the current hourly rate approved by the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors.
