ROUTINE INSPECTION

The Lunch Mater delivery driver did not have ice on the cold products. Observed a tray with one sheet of mostly melted ice on the the food and other trays of cold food without any ice packets at all. The sheet left by the food delivery service was not filled out with the time in the delivery temp box. The operations manager, Melanie will email the company to let them know the cold and hot holding requirements.

If time will be used and the meals discarded after 4 hours then the log must be filled out properly including the time the temperature was taken. The cold food items were not served and the hot food will be reheated to 165 degrees F.

In the room on the side there is a sticky board with a cockroach on it. According to the employee this room is not used by the food service department and it is for teaching staff storage. Take effective measures to eliminate any insects from inside the facility.

    Observed the kitchen locked, lights off and no one in there upon entrance. [CA] The potentially hazardous foods must be kept hot or cold. The cut melons and milk must be 41 degrees F or below. According to the food service worker that came later he was going to throw them all away. Stated that he was in a meeting. Please keep PHF at proper temperatures when unattended. [COS] They were thrown away with the help of the principal.
