Observed approximately 6 old rodent droppings in a dry storage cabinet in an unused part of the kitchen. No other evidence of rodent activity was observed at this time throughout the facility. [CA]: The premises of each food facility must be maintained free of vermin. Remove the droppings and clean and sanitize affected surfaces.
ROUTINE INSPECTION
Facility is currently conducting limited/no food preparation. Per PIC, facility has been catering foods from their central location (SRI at Menlo Park) since November. Facility plans to return to active food preparation in the future (1-2 months or more). Facility currently operates for lunch during 11am-1:30pm. Leftover food is returned to catering. **NOTE** Facility's operating permit has expired. Facility is subject to further enforcement action if outstanding balances are not paid within 48 hours.
Facility found to be in operation without an active health permit. [CA] A food facility shall not be open for business without a valid health permit.
