    Multiple food items were measured above 41F in the cold holding unit but the ambient temperature was below 41F. [CA] PHFs shall be held at 41°F or below or at 135°F or above. [SA] After discussing with PIC, learned food in the process of preparation was put back in for inspection.

  • K36: Equipment, utensils, linens: Proper storage and use

    Small bowl in use to scoop rice. [CA] Use approved utensils such as scoops or spoons with handles to ensure hands do not come in direct contact with rice. Handle of ice scoop was touching ice. [CA] Handle to ice scoop shall be stored so that it is not in direct contact with ice. Cardboard in use to line shelving. [CA] Discontinue the use of cardboard boxes to line shelves/flooring, use approved equipment made of materials that is easily cleanable, durable, smooth, and nonabsorbent.

OWNERSHIP CHANGE INFORMATION NEW FACILITY NAME: _____Tie Mu Zhen Cuisine_____ NEW OWNER: _____Golden Khan Inc._______ The applicant has completed the facility evaluation application process for an Environmental Health Permit. The permit category for this facility is FP__14__. An invoice for the permit fee in the amount of $__1,723.00__ will be mailed to the billing address on the application. Payment must be submitted within 10 days of receipt of the invoice. The owner is responsible for contacting our department if an invoice is not received and remit payment within 30 days.     Two sheds outside of the facility are not approved structures and not allowed to be used. Per PIC, equipment inside belongs to the previous owner. Shed has several structural issues as well (Large holes). [CA] Removed all equipment from inside of the shed and do not use area to store any type of equipment. Chemicals would be ok to use within shed.

    *Hand wash station is missing within the bar area. Per Owner, they will be using the bar. [CA] Provide sufficient number and conveniently locate hand wash sinks near food prep area. Plans will have to be submitted into the department for the installation of a new hand wash. Submit plans into the department within 3-months (1/14/26). Failure to comply may result in enforcement action.

    Vermin activity noted in both sheds on the outside of the facility at the time of inspection. [CA] Remove all equipment from inside of the sheds that is no longer part of the operation. Also clean/sanitize the area and do not let area become a vermin harborage.

    Gas powered rice cooker is not under the hood system at the time of inspection. [CA] There shall be a minimum of 6 inches overhang of ventilation hood over cooking equipment. Move rice cooker back under the hood system.
