    The floor around the sinks is soiled with grime and build up. [CA] Thoroughly scrape all of the grime off of the floor and keep it clean.

    The hand sink had dishes in it upon arrival. [CA] Keep the hand sink clear and readily accessible and do not use it for any other purpose besides hand washing. [COS] The owner took the items out of the sink.

    There are plastic to-go containers being used as scoops and kept in the bulk food bins. [CA] Use scoops with handles and if they are kept in the bin then be sure that the handle does not touch the food inside. They must be kept upright so the handle doesnt touch the food in the bin.

FOLLOW-UP INSPECTION

Reinspection for correction of the violations observed on 6-6-25 inspection report. The True brand refrigerator is now holding food at 38 degrees F. There are not any droppings observed at this time and the owner was vacuuming behind equipment during inspection. Please continue to correct the remaining violations such as the gap under the screen door to help eliminate rodent and insect entrance. Also, remove the grease and grime from the floor under and behind most all equipment.

    Observed wiping towels left on the table tops. [CA] The used wiping towels must be stored in the sanitizer bucket between each use.

    Observed the back door and screen door left. The screen door does not reach the bottom so there is about a 6 inch gap. [CA] The door needs to remain closed or repair the screen door and close the gaps to help keep out rodents and insects.

    Observed rodent droppings on and below the hot water heater.[CA] Thoroughly clean and sanitize the areas and surrounding areas. According to the owners there was a rodent issue in the building and it has since been taken care of. Clean up the droppings and protect food from possible contamination. Obtain pest control service. A reinspection will be conducted.

    The hand sink had a bowl of shrimp draining in it. [CA] The hand sink must be kept accessible only for hand washing. Use the food prep sink for food prep activities. [CA] Bowl removed from the sink and washed.

    The front True brand refrigerator is at 62 degrees F. The containers of tofu checked were at 55-60 degrees F. [CA] PHFs shall be held at 41°F or below or at 135°F or above. The tofu was thrown into the garbage by the owner. Discontinue using this refrigerator for PHF until it can hold food at 41 degrees F and below.
