FOLLOW-UP INSPECTION

Follow up requested by representative of facility. Facility is to remain closed due to failure to provide supply of hot water and sewage back up. To reopen: 1. Ensure that water heater is supplied at a minimum 120F at all sinks in the facility except the handwash sinks. 2. Ensure that wastewater from the three compartment sink is disposed of through appropriate plumbing fixtures and that the floor drain is repaired/replaced to dispose of wastewater. Subsequent follow up inspections will be charged $298/hr minimum 1 hour. Spoke with owner Navreet on the phone regarding the violations and closure.

    When testing hot water at three compartment sink. observed drain line heavily leaking onto the floor. Water went to floor drain which backed up and flooded the main kitchen. [CA] Food facility shall not operate if there is sewage overflowing or backing up in the food facility. The food facility, or impacted areas, shall remain closed until all plumbing problems have been corrected and all contaminated surfaces have been cleaned and sanitized.

    Hot water heater has been replaced however, hot water measured up to 115F and then dropped to 80F. [CA] Hot water shall be supplied at a minimum temperature of at least 120°F measured from the faucet throughout facility except at handwash sinks.

    Observed employee preparing order, per PIC, if orders were placed online, they were fulfilling the order yesterday and this morning. Explained again to PIC that the food facility permit was suspended during yesterday's routine inspection and there was to be no food preparation/service during the facility closure. Per PIC, he understands and will no longer be serving food. Informed PIC that the facility will be issued a Notice of Violation. [CA] A food facility shall not be open for business without a valid health permit. CEASE AND DESIST ALL ACTIVITIES. A permit shall be issued by this department when investigation has determined that the proposed facility and its method of operation meets the specifications of the approved plans or conforms to the requirements set forth by this department.     Observed heavy accumulation of mold like substance/food debris inside walk in fridge.[CA] Clean and sanitize walk in fridge and maintain in good condition.

    Observed cove base to be in disrepair throughout facility. [CA] Repair/replace cove base and maintain in good condition.

    Hot water measured up to 96F, after allowing water to run, water dropped to 82F. Per PIC, he had used a lot of hot water in the morning making the pizza dough. Waited 30 minutes without using water, temperature measured 117F and then immediately dropped to 95F and did not come back up. After another ten minutes, hot water was measured again and went up to 111F and then immediately dropped back down to 95F. [CA] Hot water shall be supplied at a minimum temperature of at least 120°F measured from the faucet throughout facility except at handwash sinks. Facility is hereby closed until the ability to provided and sustain hot water at 120F has been corrected. Please contact 408-918-3480 once hot water has been corrected to schedule a follow up inspection to reopen facility.

    In the preparation refrigerator insert, large plastic bowl used as scoop for mozzarella cheese. [CA] Provide scoop with handle. Store scoop handle in such a way that the handle does not come in direct contact with food to prevent contamination.

    1) Trash can blocking handwash station. [CA] Ensure handwash station is unobstructed and accessible at all times. 2) No hand soap available in womens restroom. [CA] Ensure hand soap is stocked at all times.
