    Facility is using sticky fly traps within the food facility at the time of inspection, not approved equipment. [CA] Insect control devices that are used to electrocute or stun flying insects shall be designed to retain the insect within the device and be installed away from the storage and preparation of food or food contact surfaces and linens.

  • K23: No rodents, insects, birds, or animals

    Mutliple fruit flies noted in the back storage room and around the 3-compartment sink area. [CA] Food facility shall be kept free of non-disease carrying insects, weevils, ants, gnats, and fruit flies.

  • K33: Nonfood contact surfaces clean

    Mold like substance is growing within the caulking around the 3-compartment sink. [CA] Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment shall be kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris.

Facility has had multiple violations with regards to long prep table in the prep area. Recommend having unit serviced or possibly changed out for a new unit. - A person proposing to build or remodel a food facility shall submit plans and specifications for review and shall receive plan approval prior to starting any new construction or remodeling.     Latex gloves noted within the food prep area at the time of inspection. [CA] Remove the latex gloves from the facility. [SA] Facility has nitrile gloves on site that could be used.

  • K07: Proper hot and cold holding temperatures

    PHFs within long prep table next to the warming oven was measured between 44-45*F at the time of inspection. [CA] PHFs shall be held at 41°F or below or at 135°F or above. Contact specialist with regards to plan for unit. If unit is replaced, plans will have to be submitted into the department. REPEAT VIOLATION. Failure to comply may result in enforcement action.
