Observed several dead cockroaches behind preparation table. [CA] Clean and sanitize area of dead cockroaches. Per PIC and correspondence with pest control company, facility had a treatment on 05/30/2025. Report was unavailable for review during inspection.
- K29: Toxic substances properly identified, stored, used
Observed can of Raid in facility that states for residential use only. [CA] Only those insecticides, rodenticides, and other pesticides that are necessary and specifically approved for use in a food facility may be used.
- K34: Warewash facilities: installed/maintained; test strips
Chlorine test strips were not available at time of inspection. [CA] Testing equipment and materials shall be provided to adequately measure the applicable sanitization method used during manual or mechanical warewashing.
- K40: Wiping cloths: properly used, stored
Wiping cloths were stored in bucket at two compartment sink, chlorine measured 0ppm. [CA] Wiping towels shall be stored in sanitizing solution of an approved concentration when not in use (100 ppm - chlorine, 200 ppm - quaternary ammonium).
