- K43: Toilet facilities: properly constructed, supplied, cleaned
There was a foul smell in the customer's men restroom. [CA] Refresh the restroom regularly and permanently address the cause of the bad smell.
- K23: No rodents, insects, birds, or animals
Couple of drain flies were observed by the janitorial sink area. [CA] Eliminate all insects and rodents from the facility by a legal method.
- K41: Plumbing approved, installed, in good repair; proper backflow devices
Drainpipe from the ice machine located by the seafood packing area is immersed inside the floor sink [CA] To prevent possible contamination from backup of sewage, please provide at least one inch air gap between the floor sink and the drainpipes.
- K40: Wiping cloths: properly used, stored
A couple of wet/soiled wiping cloths were stored on meat department preparation tables. [CA] Wet/soiled wiping cloths must be stored in a bucket that has standard sanitizer concentration in between use which is 200 ppm quaternary ammonia or 100 ppm chlorine (bleach). There was very low sanitizer concentration on one of the sanitizer buckets. [CA] Maintain the sanitizer concentration on the sanitizer buckets at 200 ppm quaternary ammonia. 100 ppm chlorine (bleach), 272 ppm -700 ppm lactic acid levels.

There is no wet mop hanger by the janitorial sink. [CA] Install a wet mop hanger by the janitorial sink. All wet mops must be hanged on the wet mop hanger.
