Permit expired in January of 2026. [CA] The health permit issued by this department shall be current and posted in a conspicuous place in the food facility.
- K36: Equipment, utensils, linens: Proper storage and use
Observed ice cream scoop handle in direct contact with ice cream. [CA] Position scoop with handle sticking up so that it is not in contact with food.
- K07: Proper hot and cold holding temperatures
Observed potentially hazardous foods that measured in the temperature danger zone located in the food prep cold hold unit (cooked potatoes 46F). Per staff, the potatoes were portioned today. [CA] Ensure PHFs are properly cold held at 41F or below OR hot held at 135F or above. Repair, adjust or replace units if necessary. Minimize the amount of time PHFs are in the temperature danger zone; recommend placing PHFs back in reach-in cooler to quickly cool back down to 41F or below.

Observed flooring and walls to be unapproved materials (vinyl, plywood) and lacked cove base. [CA] Ensure floors, walls, and ceilings are approved material and have cove base to facilitate cleaning. Facility shall upgrade floors and walls in the back prep area by 5/15/27.

FSC and FHC not available during time of inspection. [CA] Food facilities that prepare, handle, or serve non-prepackaged potentially hazard foods shall have a valid Food Safety Certificate available for review at all times. [CA] Each food handler shall maintain a valid food handler card for the duration of his or her employment as food handler. A valid food handler card shall be provided within 30 days of after the date of hire.
