Notes: - Failure to correct repeat violations may result in further enforcement actions from this department. - Per Elsa, the dishwasher was replaced with a like for like unit about a year ago. - Facility is exempt from Food Handler Card requirements per 113948. Food Handler Card (e) (12) An elderly nutrition program, administered by the California Department of Aging, pursuant to the Older Americans Act of 1965 (42 U.S.C. Sec. 3001 et seq.), as amended.
Repeat Violation: The dishwasher measured at 0 ppm of chlorine. No active ware washing was taking place. [CA] Maintain chlorine in mechanical warewash machine at 50 PPM.
Frozen vegetable (peas, carrots, etc) were found reheating in a steam table. [CA] Reheating for hot holding shall be done rapidly, and the time the food is between 41°F and 165°F shall not exceed two hours.
In the women's restroom the permanent soap dispenser was empty. A pump bottle of liquid hand soap was available for use. [CA] Provide handwashing cleanser in dispenser at handwash stations at all times.
Water at each of the hand sinks in the customer restrooms measured at a maximum of 71°F. [CA] Hot water shall be supplied at a minimum temperature of at least 120°F measured from the faucet throughout facility except at handwash sinks.
The Environmental Health Permit was not posted in public view. [CA] The health permit issued by this department shall be posted in a conspicuous place in the food facility.
