    Many dead cockroaches were observed on the traps located below the fridges and sinks located in the deli station kitchen [CA] Food facility shall be kept free of non-disease carrying insects, weevils, ants, gnats, and fruit flies. Eliminate any insect from the facility by legal methods. Please conduct a regular cleaning and replace the traps immediately.

ROUTINE INSPECTION

Note:1. This routine inspection is conducted for a change of ownership for SR0879979 NEW OWNER: CUONG NGUYEN NEW FACILITY NAME: KING MINI MART LLC The applicant has completed the application for an Environmental Health Permit. FP06 $777.00 will be invoiced and mail to the address on the application. Payment shall be paid within 10 days of receipt of the invoice. The owner is responsible for contacting our department if an invoice is not received within 30 days of the change of owner date. Permit issued and valid: 4/1/25 to 03/31/26. The permit will be deemed invalid if the permit fee is not paid in full within 30 days from the date of this report. This report serves as a temporary permit until the official permit is mailed to the facility. When the invoice for the facility is received, payment must be done within 10 days. Okay to operate as of today. The official Environmental Health permit must post permit in public view and copy of the most recent inspection report must be kept on file for review by anyone upon request. Someone from the facility must take a food manager certificate class within two months. All employees who are engaged in food preparation service, and storage, and who do not have a food manager certificate must get a food handler card within a month of hire. *Structural Review inspection conducted on 4/1/25 2. The owner wants to sell Vietnamese Coffee, Smoothies, Pandan waffle, and sandwiches from a deli located inside the store. There are couple of undercounter fridges, upright freezer, and a handwash station in the front counter area. There also is a three compartment sink located by the restroom and the janitorial sink which is far from the deli area. However, the deli is missing a three compartment warewash and handwash stations back in the preparation area. Therefore, the owner is told to submit specification to install these sinks before conducting any food preparation from the deli which might include cutting of fruits or serving any open food products. Please submit plan and specification to our office in person or send application to our email address dehweb@deh.sccgov.org or dehplancheck@deh. sccgov.org. 3. This permit is only for operating the grocery store. No food preparation is allowed in the deli until a separate permit is obtained for the deli through a plan check unit of this office. 4. No violations related to the store were found during the time of this inspection.
