The owner of the facility emailed me pictures of a handwash station and noted that a hot water supply is installed on the three compartment sink which was installed without submitting plan and specification to our office and not approved to be used. She reported that both were approved by our office. No plan has been submitted and approved by our office. Therefore, the ice machine, the three compartment sink, and the handwash sink located by the bar area may not be used until plan and specification are submitted to our office, and approved.

Change of Ownership: Note: This limited/routine inspection is conducted for a change of ownership for SR0880798 NEW OWNER: MEL Enterprises, LLC NEW FACILITY NAME: El Cerrito Taqueria #2 The applicant has completed the application for an Environmental Health Permit. FP11 $1,580.00 will be invoiced and mail to the address on the application. Payment shall be paid within 10 days of receipt of the invoice. The owner is responsible for contacting our department if an invoice is not received within 30 days of the change of owner date. Permit issued and valid: 06/01/25 - 03/31/26. The permit will be deemed invalid if the permit fee is not paid in full within 30 days from the date of this report.
