    Salad bar measured to have: -Hard boiled eggs at 46F -White Cheese at 46F -Shredded yellow cheese at 45F -Cut tomatoes at 44F Ice bath observed to only maintain contact at bottom of container. Per operator, salad bar items are taken back and kept in cooler for next day use. [CA] When using ice bath, ensure ice and water level submerges sides of PHFs to ensure PHFs are at 41F and aboves. [COS] Salad bar observed to have been set up about 20 minutes prior to measurements. Operator added more ice to get ice water level partially submerging sides

    Whipped cream at coffee bar in ice bath measured to be 61F. Per employee whipped cream is not kept on TPHC with other dairy items in ice bath. [CA] Maintain PHFs at 41F and below for cold holding. Ice bath mush have enough ice an water to surround sides of container to effectively maintain temperature. [COS] Whipped cream was added to coffee bar TPHC log and will be discarded every 2 hours per employee.

    Thermometer in grab n go cooler on side of coffee bar observed to be reading in the 50Fs. Cooler measured to have: -Ambient temperature of 39F -Yogurt at 38F -Hardboiled eggs at 38F [CA] Provide accurate thermometer for grab n go cooler.

OWNERSHIP CHANGE INFORMATION NEW FACILITY NAME: Amazon SJC44 Cafe NEW OWNER: Bon Appetit Management Company The applicant has completed the facility evaluation application process for an Environmental Health Permit. The permit category for this facility is FP10. An invoice for the permit fee in the amount of $1107.00 will be mailed to the billing address on the application. Payment must be submitted within 10 days of receipt of the invoice. The owner is responsible for contacting our department if an invoice is not received and remit payment within 30 days. The Environmental Health Permit will be effective: 07/01/2025 - 06/30/2026. This report serves as a temporary permit. However, the permit will be deemed invalid if the permit fee is not paid in full within 30 days from the date of this report. Okay to Operate.
