FOLLOW-UP INSPECTION

On site for a follow up inspection for routine inspection conducted on 9/26/25. No vermin activity observed in the facility. Owner has cleaned the affected areas. Back storage area is cleaned as well. He has installed tiles in the storage area. No food is stored in the stored. Checklist and pest control report provided. Still observed a lot of unused equipment with few dead cockroaches that was moved to the back outside of the facility. Ensure unused equipment is removed from the premises to prevent pest harborage. Continue cleaning and sanitizing the facility. Facility is ok to reopen. Office hearing letter will be mailed to the owner. Ensure pest control services are not discontinued after this inspection. Observed few traps set in the facility. 2 rodent droppings on top of meat display refrigerator. 2-3 droppings on refrigerator near baklawa display. On site for second follow up inspection. Per owner, EcoGaurd did pest control service earlier this morning. He is waiting for a invoice/report from the agent and another service is scheduled for next week. Email the pest control reports from today and next week at sukhreet.kaur@deh.sccgov.org No evidence of live or dead cockroaches in the facility. Ensure to clean and sanitize all contaminated surfaces. Continue to obtain professional pest control services to eliminate any vermin activity. Discussed with owner Sabah, to remove unused or old equipment from the back storage of the facility. Facility is okay to reopen. Note: This is a charged inspection. Contact Santa Clara County Department of Environmental Health Plan Check at (408) 918-3400 to obtain approval prior to any remodel or construction projects in the facility.
