ROUTINE INSPECTION
A follow-up inspection shall be conducted. Subsequent follow-up inspection after first follow-up shall be billed $298/hour, minimum one hour, during normal business hours (Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM), and $645/hour, minimum two hours, during non business hours, and upon inspector availability.
Observed several coffee/water/tea device on counter top at customer self-service area (Crave tea, Crave cappuccino, Crave hot water & Crave coffee). Per operator, devices are currently inoperable and in process of repair. [CA] Discontinue the sales of open foods when devices are repaired. Facility is permitted as a commercially prepackaged foods only and lacks a warewash sink. [SA] Operator is directed to discontinue any potential sales of open beverages once device is repaired and immediatelyremove device from food facility. If facility plans to install a 3-compartment sink: a person proposing to build or remodel a food facility shall submit plans and specifications for review and shall receive plan approval prior to starting any new construction or remodeling. Measured hot water holding at 112F at mop sink located in back area. [CA] Provide an adequate, pressurized, potable supply of hot water at a minimum of 120F for all sinks with the exception of hand wash sink to be held between 100F - 108F.
ROUTINE INSPECTION
The cold water supply valve within the restroom was turned off. [CA] An approved, adequate, protected, pressurized, potable supply of hot water and cold water shall be provided. Handwashing facilities equipped with a mixing valve that is not readily adjustable at the faucet, shall provide warm water at least 100°F, but not greater than 108°F. [COS] Cold water valve turned on. Repair faucet leak so that water valve can be left on at all times.
Observed the sale/ brewing of open coffee within the facility. Facility is permitted as commercially prepackaged foods only and lacks a warewashing sink. [CA] Discontinue the preparation of open coffee. The installation of a three compartment warewashing sink and permit upgrade will be required to resume open drink preparation. [COS] Facility discontinued open coffee preparation.
