ROUTINE INSPECTION
Note: 1. The warehouse provides prepackaged dry, cold, and frozen food and boxes of single use utensils to 12 elementary and middle schools under the Alum Rock School District. It has two walk-in freezers and one walk-in cooler. No food preparation is going on in this building. 2. To prevent insect and rodent hiding and breading below the wood pallets inside the warehouse, it is recommended to replace the wood pallets with approved shelves or dunnage racks which provide a six-inch clearance from the floor. 3. Some of the schools cook and some assemble beef patties delivered raw. The person in charge is informed that the SOPs for schools must indicate which food products are received raw and indicate that the specific food products shall be cooked at an appropriate temperature.
