    Hand wash station next to the cashier station is slow flowing at the time of inspection. [CA] Repair plumbing fixture and maintain in clean and good repair. [COS] PIC repaired sink and is flowing properly.

  • K44: Premises clean, in good repair; Personal/chemical storage; Adequate vermin-proofing

    Facility has a prep table under the cook line that is no longer in use. Per PIC, they are not going to be using the prep table. [CA] The premises of a food facility shall be free of litter and items that are unnecessary to the operation or maintenance of the facility, such as equipment that is nonfunctional or no longer used.

  • K35: Equipment, utensils: Approved, in good repair, adequate capacity

    Hand wash station in the back of the facility has duct tape around the splash guard at the time of inspection. Per PIC, the duct tape was added since edges were not smooth. [CA] Remove duct tape and add a different type of rubber around the edges. [COS] Duct tape was removed at the time of inspection.

  • K36: Equipment, utensils, linens: Proper storage and use

    CO2 tanks for the soda machine are not tied down to a rigid structure. [CA] All pressurized cylinders shall be securely fastened to a rigid structure.

    Facility has installed new pieces of equipment since change of ownership (1/30/24), equipment on site seems to be commercial grade equipment: - Two new reach in refrigeration units Freezer/refrigeration (Atosa) - Heat lamp (Hatco glo-ray food warmer) - New deep fryer (Cook rite Atosa) - New soda machine Per Owner, he plans to add/remove additional equipment into the facility. [CA] A person proposing to build or remodel a food facility shall submit plans and specifications for review and shall receive plan approval prior to starting any new construction or remodeling. Failure to comply may result in enforcement action.
