    Observed large gap due to broken ceiling panel above the mechanical dishwasher. The ceiling panel appears to be falling off. [CA] Seal all gaps in the facility. The facility shall be fully enclosed to prevent pest entrance and harborage.

    At the only handwash station in the bakery, the hot water measures from 100-122F and is not readily adjustable. (The cold water pedal is properly functioning.) [CA] Handwashing facilities shall be equipped to provide a consistent stream of 100-108°F water under pressure for a minimum of 15 seconds.

Note: Manager stated plans of closing down Starbucks on 09/21/2024. Specialist informed manager to contact DEH CPD regarding inactivating permit for Starbucks. Manager stated remodel plans of Starbucks area and possibly extending deli section. Ensure permit owner reaches out to DEH Plan Check at 408-918-3400 and submit plans prior to construction or remodel.
