ROUTINE INSPECTION
A follow up inspection will be conducted within 5 business days. The 1st follow-up inspection is free of charge. Any and all subsequent follow-up inspections will be billed at the approved hourly rate of $323/hr, minimum of one hour.
Fruit fly infestation observed on multiple food items in the produce area: red onions, yellow onions, white onions, and russet potatoes. Fruit flies observed crawling on food items. [CA] All food shall be manufactured, produced, prepared, compounded, packed, stored, transported, kept for sale, and served so as to be pure and free from adulteration and spoilage; shall have been obtained from approved sources; shall be protected from dirt, vermin, unnecessary handling, droplet contamination, overhead leakage, or other environmental sources of contamination; shall otherwise be fully fit for human consumption. Continue monitoring fruit flies: -Rotate produce continuously throughout the day. -Remove any decaying produce immediately. -Routinely and thoroughly clean and sanitize produce display shelves. [SA] All food items were voluntarily discarded.
