    Open bags of bulk food items (rice) in dry storage area. [CA] Store open bulk foods in approved NSF containers with tight fitting lids.

  • K34: Warewash facilities: installed/maintained; test strips

[SA] Food items were relocated to single door display cooler.

    Observed the employee wearing gloves handling raw meat and then touching other equipment with the raw meat on the gloves. [CA] [CA] Properly wash hands with soap, warm water and dry using single use paper towels as required. Gloves shall be properly used and changed when required.Change gloves and wash hands between each task. Do not cross contaminate with the soiled gloves. They must be removed and hands washed before touching other items and replacing new gloves.

    The containers with the clean utensils are soiled inside. [CA] The clean utensils must be kept in clean containers.

    The salad refrigerator is holding all food around 50 degrees F. [CA] According to the employee the items are all prepared and then placed in there fresh daily. Cut onions, tomatoes, and hummus. [CA] The items were placed into the properly working refrigerator. Discontinue using the refrigerator until it can hold food at 41 degrees F and below.
