FOLLOW-UP INSPECTION

Note: 1. This is a follow-up inspection conducted on 08/15/2024. The vendor has installed a make-shift ventilation system and has brought multiple counter-top household fryers and waffle makers. He was told to remove the exhaust hood system and the equipment from the facility. Today, when I stepped into the facility the owner was observed removing the exhaust hood system and the counter-top equipment stored under the hood. The owner is told another follow-up inspection may be conducted sometime next week to observe if any of the unapproved equipment are still being used and if the make-shift ventilation system is permanently removed. Suzanne Lew, Supervising Registered Environmental Health inspector is consulted about this. If the vendor plans to serve store cooked food products, equipment used for food preparation must be approved by our office in advance. Please submit all equipment with specification to our plan check unit dehplancheck@deh.sccgov.org Employee was also observed washing utensils with an approved method.
