5 reported violations
- K36: Equipment, utensils, linens: Proper storage and use
Observed a plastic disposable cup was used as a scoop for a bulk flour bin. [CA] Use approved scoops with handles to help prevent contamination.
- K29: Toxic substances properly identified, stored, used
Observed canister of RAID insecticide on shelf above 3-compartment sink. [CA] Do not use household insecticide products; only professional pest control methods are permitted for commercial food facilities.
- K14: Food contact surfaces clean, sanitized
Observed brown mold-like substance on the white panel inside the ice machine. [CA] Keep ice machine clean.
- K06: Adequate handwash facilities supplied, accessible
At the handsink behind the door: observed the soap dispenser was full but was not dispensing soap. Another nearby sink (prep sink) had a soap dispenser but no paper towels. [CA] Keep soap dispensers functional at all times. Provide paper towels at handsinks. [SA] A bottle of soap was placed at the handsink by the door. Note: PIC stated she usually uses either the prep sink or 3-compartment sink to wash hands because the open door causes the handsink to be blocked. Wash hands only at the designated handsink; keep the door closed to keep the sink easily accessible.
- K41: Plumbing approved, installed, in good repair; proper backflow devices
Observed the 3-compartment sink's faucet was loose. [CA] Repair faucet and keep in good condition.
