[CA] Food shall be stored a minimum of 6 inches off the floor to protect the food from contamination and to allow adequate space for ease of frequent cleaning. 2) Single-use food containers are stored on counter outside of the restroom and accessible by the public. [CA] Food equipment and utensils shall be stored in a location that is protected and not readily accessible by the public.

Follow-up for routine inspection conducted on 7/15/25. Verified that major violations are still in compliance: - Handwash sinks were able to provide water, soap, and single-use paper towels. - Employees were able to demonstrate proper handwashing. - Potentially hazardous foods were properly reheated prior to hot holding. Discussed with PIC regarding placement of raw meat at the self-service line to prevent cross-contamination.

FOLLOW-UP INSPECTION

Follow-up for routine inspection conducted on 11/18/24. The following major violations was verified to still be in complaince: - Proper handwashing was observed by employees. - Both handwash sinks was accessible and have soap and single-use paper towels available. One major violation observed still out of compliance: - Potentially hazardous foods observed at improper hot holding temperatures. See above for details. Verified that ownership remains the same and only dba is changing to Liukoushui Chongqing Noodle. Owner provided their submitted copy of Ficititious Business Name Statement showing new dba and ownership remains Neighborhood Kitchen. Owner shall also provide copy of updated business license from the City of Cupertino when available to have name on Environmental Health Permit updated. Discussed requirement to submit any addition of cooking equipment or new equipment that required plumbing to this department's Plan Check for review and approval.

ROUTINE INSPECTION

Facility changed their name to Chonqing Noodles Malatang. Per PIC, the owners are the same but it is a menu/concept change. Operator shall provide an updated business license with the new dba and show that ownership remains NEIGHBORHOOD KITCHEN INC. Environmental Health Permit is issued per owner and if changed - facility is required to submit for facility evaluation and apply for new permit. Per PIC, the facility may split the dining area into two separate menus with one side with a noodles menu and the other half as malatang. Notified this department prior to changes for further evaluation. Facility changed their menu/concept without notifying this department. New equipment was also added for the new concept and are not approved. Facility shall submit new equipment to this department's Plan Check by 11/29/24. Failure to do so may result in additional enforcement action, including impound of unapproved equipment.

The chicken and BBQ pork was reheated before being placed back into the warmer unit.
