    Facility has installed a bar-sized three-compartment sink and hand wash sink in the kitchen area. Manager stated that they were instructed by the contractor that the construction is wrong and that they will need to submit plans with this Division and rebuild the area. Manager provided email communication between contractor. [CA] A person proposing to build or remodel a food facility shall submit plans and specifications for review and shall receive plan approval prior to starting any new construction or remodeling.     Restroom door maintained opened. [CA] Toilet rooms shall be separated by well-fitted, self-closing doors that prevent the passage of flies, dust, or odors. Keep restroom door closed at all times.

  • K44: Premises clean, in good repair; Personal/chemical storage; Adequate vermin-proofing

    Kitchen area as well as the back storage area observed with numerous bags of personal items and luggages. [CA] The premises of a food facility shall be free of litter and items that are unnecessary to the operation or maintenance of the facility, such as equipment that is nonfunctional or no longer used.

    Facility lacks hot water. Water measured at a constant 74F at all sinks. Manager stated that the water heater broke last week and that they have been waiting for a plumber to repair the heater. [CA] Hot water shall be supplied at a minimum temperature of at least 120°F measured from the faucet throughout facility except at handwash sinks. [SA] Facility does not conduct any food preparation.
