Facility conducts food preparation of non-prepackaged foods (bagels). Discussed with PIC that permit category will be adjusted from RC1 to RC2 upon review. Facility operates daily from 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM.

  • K32: Food properly labeled and honestly presented

    Observed prepackaged juices prepared on-site lack labeling information. [CA] Food prepackaged in a food facility shall bear a label with the following: 1) common name of the food, 2) list of ingredients in descending order of predominance by weight, 3) quantity of contents, 4) name and address of business of the manufacturer, packer, or distributor.

  • K30: Food storage: food storage containers identified

    Observed packaged food and beverages stored directly on the floor. [CA] Food shall be stored at least six inches above the floor to prevent contamination.

  • K34: Warewash facilities: installed/maintained; test strips

    1) Observed bin of washed produce stored inside the wash compartment of the 3-compartment sink. [CA] Warewashing sink shall not be used for food storage or preparation. Food preparation shall only take place in designated preparation sink. [COS] PIC relocated washed produce to preparation sink during inspection. 2) Facility lacks test strips for sanitizer of choice (chlorine). [CA] Testing equipment and materials shall be provided to adequately measure the applicable sanitization method used during manual or mechanical warewashing.
