  • K23: No rodents, insects, birds, or animals

    Observed what appeared to be old dry rodent droppings under the rice shelving units in the corner of the store. Observed several dead cockroaches on sticky traps under shelving unit. No other evidence of vermin observed. Pest control reports reviewed. Per PIC, pest control is provided weekly. Pest control reports reviewed are from 7/20/2026 and 7/27/2026. No report was provided for 8/03/26. Reports do not comment on activity levels of vermin, services provided, or equipment used. [CA] Clean and sanitize areas of dried rodent droppings. A follow up inspection will be conducted on 08/11/2026 to verify there is no evidence of vermin. Facility must provide an updated pest control report prior to follow up inspection.

  • K30: Food storage: food storage containers identified

    Observed to go containers and other food related equipment stored outside of facility near loading dock. Also observed items stored above the walk in coolers. [CA] Bring all food equipment inside facility for storage, remove all items from above the walk in fridge.

    Observed large gap between flooring and wall that is partially repaired in the meat department.

    Multiple wet wiping cloths stored on counters. [CA] Wiping cloths shall be stored in sanitizing solution of an approved concentration when not in use. (100ppm – chlorine)

    Handwash station in produce preparation area obstructed. Packaged to go containers were stored up against paper towel dispenser. [CA] Ensure all handwash stations are clean, unobstructed, and accessible at all times.

  • K39: Thermometers provided, accurate

    Metal probe thermometer is not available in seafood and meat departments. [CA] An accurate easily readable metal probe thermometer (accurate to +/- 2°F) that is designed to measure the temperature of thin masses shall be provided and readily available to accurately measure the temperatures of potentially hazardous foods.
