FOLLOW-UP INSPECTION
Follow up inspection for routine inspection conducted on 10/14/2025 regarding the following violations: -K06 Adequate handwash facilities supplied, accessible -K07 Proper hot and cold holding temperatures Specialist observations: -K06 Adequate handwash facilities supplied, accessible: CORRECTED -K07 Proper hot and cold holding temperatures: NOT CORRECTED This is the facility's first follow up inspection. The first follow up inspection is free of charge, any and all subsequent follow up inspections shall be charged at the approved hourly rate of $298/hr, minimum of one hour. A follow up inspection will be conducted by 10/21/2025 to verify compliance for K07 Proper hot and cold holding temperatures. Note: facility's health permit is expiring on 10/31/2025. Ensure health permit is renewed prior to expiration date. Prior to comply may lead to enforcement actions such as facility closure and/or charged follow up insection.
Cut watermelon in coca cola beverage cooler measured at 47F. Per Staff, cut watermelon has been in the unit since yesterday. Ambient temperature of unit measured at 48F. [CA]: Potentially Hazardous Food shall be cold held at 41F or below. [COS]: Cut watermelon was voluntarily discarded.
ROUTINE INSPECTION
Chlorine test strips are not available for use. [CA] Testing equipment and materials shall be provided to adequately measure the applicable sanitization method used during manual or mechanical warewashing.
Coco Cola refrigeration unit has ambient temperature of 51F. [CA] Ensure equipment can store PHFs at 41F or below before using.
Spinach empanadas are measured at 66F stored at the front counter. Per employee, empanadas were purchased thie morning over 4 hours ago. Cheese cake inside the turning display case are measured 49F; per employee door is opened and closed. Cut melon, sliced tomatoes and papaya are measured between 51F - 57F inside the Coca Cola beverage cooler; per employee fruit was cut less than 2 hours ago. [CA] PHFs shall be held at 41°F or below or at 135°F or above. [SA] Employee removed empanadas from sale. Cut fruit was relocated to another refrigeration unit.
Blenders are stored inside the only hand washing sink. [CA] Handwashing facility shall be clean, unobstructed, and accessible at all times. [COS] Blenders were removed during inspection.
