    Facility lacked testing materials for their choice of sanitizer at the three compartment sink, quaternary ammonia. Note: Facility did have testing materials for their chlorine dishwashers and the lactic acid based sanitizer at the mop sink. [CA] Testing equipment and materials shall be provided to adequately measure the applicable sanitization method used during manual or mechanical warewashing.

  • K21: Hot and cold water available

    Staff restrooms lacked hot water. Per PIC, they have been having issues with the water heater that services the staff restrooms and breakroom. No plumbing fixtures in the kitchen, bar, or guest restrooms were affected as they have a separate water heater. [CA] Handwashing facilities shall be equipped to provide minimum 100°F water under pressure for a minimum of 15 seconds.

ROUTINE INSPECTION

Notes: - Facility has a popcorn machine and mobile bar cart in their "The Backroom" room. Per PIC they use the bar and popcorn machine when events are hosted in the room. Temporary Event Permits may have to be acquired for operation of the bar and food during the events. - Facility operates a "quick bar" equipped with a small cooler and a beer tap cooler when they are busy. The bar area has a carpet rug as flooring and no hand washing facilities available. Bar area was not in use during time of the inspection. - Permit condition will need further evaluation.

    The men's restroom lacked soap dispensers. Per PIC, the soap dispensers were in disrepair and they are in the process of replacing them. [CA] Provide handwashing cleanser in dispenser at handwash stations at all times. [SA] A pump bottle of soap was provided.

    There is no Food Safety Certificate available upon request. [CA] Food facilities that prepare, handle, or serve non-prepackaged potentially hazard foods shall have a valid Food Safety Certificate available for review at all times.

    In the bar area, at the floor sink behind a cabinet, small flies were observed. [CA] Ensure to maintain the facility free of animals, pests, and vermin. Provide pest control as necessary.

    The three unvented ovens have an accumulation of dried food debris and are dirty on the non-food contact surfaces. [CA] Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment shall be kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris.
