    Small flies were observed in the front service area. [CA] Ensure to maintain the facility free of animals, pests, and vermin. Note: Facility is serviced for pest control by EcoLab monthly.

  • K14: Food contact surfaces clean, sanitized

    In the ware wash area, at the three compartment sink, chlorine was measured at 0 PPM. [CA] Maintain chemical solution for manual warewashing at 100 ppm (1Tbs of bleach (5.25%)/gal of water) for chlorine and 200 ppm (1 tbs of quaternary ammonium (10%)/2 gal of water) for quaternary ammonium. [COS] The sanitizer dispenser was refilled and chlorine was remeasured at 100 PPM.

  • K06: Adequate handwash facilities supplied, accessible

    In the kitchen area, the permanent soap dispenser was empty. [CA] Provide handwashing cleanser in dispenser at handwash stations at all times. [SA] Staff provided a pump bottle of soap for use.

    Facility is using a spray can insecticide meant for house hold use and stores it at the top of wire storage rack with food under. [CA] Only those insecticides, rodenticides, and other pesticides that are necessary and specifically approved for use in a food facility may be used. Store chemicals separate and away from the storage and preparation of food or food contact surfaces and linens.

  • K36: Equipment, utensils, linens: Proper storage and use

    In the front of house area, at the rice station, the heated water for the rice spoon was measured at 124°F. [CA] Utensils shall be stored in the following manner: 1) in the food with their handles above the top of the food and the container, 2) in running water, 3) in a container of water at 135°F or above, 4) at room temperature if washed within 4 hours of initial use. [SA] Staff agreed to change the rice spoon after four hours in conjunction with the rice.

    Solution in a bucket with cloth towels measured at 0 PPM. [CA] Wiping towels shall be stored in sanitizing solution of an approved concentration when not in use (100 ppm - chlorine, 200 ppm - quaternary ammonium).
