    India Cash and Carry has a unit (storage/kitchen) at 1036 E El Camino Real (next to Meat Corner). That unit is not permitted. The Meat Corner went through plan check and got approved on 01/2019 at 1036 E El Camino Real. The Meat Corner and the unit next door were subdivided by a wall at the same address 1036 E El Camino Real. Since then the unit at 1036 E El Camino has been operating without a valid health permit. Per owner, the facility has same equipment as it did in 2018 and nothing as changed. The facility only cooks and no pick ups or dine in services at this address. Observed cooking equipment such as burners, tandoor and fryers. Also observed three compartment sink, food preparation sink, hand wash sinks, walk in cooler, walk in freezer and upright refrigerator. [CA] Cease and desist all operations, until final plan check approval has been received from this department. A person proposing to build or remodel a food facility shall submit plans and specifications for review and shall receive plan approval prior to starting any new construction or remodeling.
