FOLLOW-UP INSPECTION

Follow-up inspection; water has been restored and toilets and sinks have been confirmed to be working properly. PIC contacted landlord for access to adjacent facility to adjust water heater for restrooms. Facility ok to reopen. NOTE: Staff was cooking and preparing food during time of inspection; facility shall NOT prepare food until reopened by the inspector.

    Hot water in restrooms measured at 62F and barely drips out of the faucet. Cold water runs properly. [CA] Adjust water heater to provide at least 100F water.

  • K23: No rodents, insects, birds, or animals

    Observed several dead juvenile cockroaches under water heater. [CA] Thoroughly clean and sanitize floors. Monitor for pests. Recommend working with professional pest control.

  • K35: Equipment, utensils: Approved, in good repair, adequate capacity

    Observed waffle makers being used without a hood. [CA] Cooking equipment must be operated under a type 1 hood OR have an approved mechanical ventilation exemption. Facility must submit to Plan check by 3/26/25 or remove the cooking equipment from the premises.
