Facility has chemicals stored above food products. [CA] Store chemicals separate and away from the storage and preparation of food or food contact surfaces and linens.
- K31: Consumer self service does prevent contamination
Facility has corn maize available for bulk customer self service without protection from contamination. [CA] Food on display shall be protected from contamination by the use of packaging, counter, service line, or sneeze guards that intercept a direct line between the consumer's mouth and the food being displayed, containers with tight-fitting securely attached lids, display cases, mechanical dispensers, or other effective means.

Water at the mop sink measured at 115F. [CA] Hot water shall be supplied at a minimum temperature of at least 120°F measured from the faucet throughout facility except at handwash sinks.

The handwash sink lacked paper towels and soap. [CA] Handwashing facilities shall be equipped with handwashing cleanser and single-use sanitary towels in dispensers. [COS] PIC restocked the handwash station.

Repeat Violation: Facility is repackaging food items(spices, teas, dry goods) in the facility and placing them for sale on the sales floor without proper labeling. [CA] Food prepackaged in a food facility shall bear a label with the following: 1) common name of the food. 2) list of ingredients in descending order of predominance by weight. 3) quantity of contents. 4) name and place of business of the manufacturer, packer, or distributor.
