- K30: Food storage: food storage containers identified
1. Bag of onions noted on the floor of the dry storage area. [CA] Food shall be stored at least 6 inches above the floor to prevent contamination. [COS] PIC moved the bag off the ground. 2. Bulk containers are not labeled at the time of inspection. [CA] Working containers holding food or food ingredients that are removed from their original packages shall be identified with the common name of the food if not easily recognizable.
- K39: Thermometers provided, accurate
Unable to provide a food probe thermometer at the time of inspection. [CA] An accurate easily readable metal probe thermometer (accurate to +/- 2°F) that is designed to measure the temperature of thin masses shall be provided and readily available to accurately measure the temperatures of potentially hazardous foods.
- K48: Plan review
Facility has a new warmer/panini press (spam musubi) is not part of original plans. As per plans/letter (1/21/22) ". No cooking of foods shall be conducted as this facility due to the lack of cooking equipment and mechanical exhaust ventilation." Facility does not have appropriate equipment on site to be heating/cooking on site. [CA] A person proposing to build or remodel a food facility shall submit plans and specifications for review and shall receive plan approval prior to starting any new construction or remodeling. Failure to comply may result in enforcement action.
