  • K06: Adequate handwash facilities supplied, accessible

    Hand wash station next to 3-compartment sink has a damaged paper towel dispenser. Per PIC, the key got jammed into the dispenser and unit will be replaced. [CA] Obtain a new paper towel dispenser. [SA] All other hand wash stations are fully stocked and operational.

  • K30: Food storage: food storage containers identified

    Bulk containers in the back of the facility are not labeled. [CA] Working containers holding food or food ingredients that are removed from their original packages shall be identified with the common name of the food if not easily recognizable.

  • K01: Demonstration of knowledge; food safety certification

    Food handler card for employee has expired. [CA] Each food handler shall maintain a valid food handler card for the duration of his or her employment as food handler. A valid food handler card shall be provided within 30 days of after the date of hire.

    Unable to provide a food probe thermometer at the time of inspection. ROUTINE INSPECTION

This is the first routine inspection since the final inspection that was conducted on (5/19/25). On site to verify that no major changes have been done since final inspection: - New pancake machine has been installed in the facility without approval. Submit specification sheets for new piece of equipment and will be discussed with senior inspector.

  • K41: Plumbing approved, installed, in good repair; proper backflow devices

    1. Leak noted on the piping for the 3-compartment sink at the time of inspection. [CA] Repair plumbing fixture and maintain in clean and good repair. 2. Waste line for ice shaver is draining into a bucket a the time of inspection. [CA] All equipment that discharges liquid waste shall be drained by means of indirect waste pipes, and all wastes drained by them shall discharge through an airgap into a floor sink or other approved type of receptor. Recommend extending the drain line into the floor sink that is right under ice machine.

  • K23: No rodents, insects, birds, or animals

    Flies noted in the back dry storage area and around the mop sink. [CA] Food facility shall be kept free of non-disease carrying insects, weevils, ants, gnats, and fruit flies. Recommend working with pest control to install blue lights around the facility.

  • K05: Hands clean, properly washed; gloves used properly

    Employee did not wash hands after handling money and going straight to put on gloves. [CA] Properly wash hands with soap, warm water and dry using single use paper towels as required prior to putting on gloves.

  • K35: Equipment, utensils: Approved, in good repair, adequate capacity

    A pancake machine has been installed in the facility and is not commercial. [CA] New and/or replacement food equipment shall be certified or classified for sanitation by an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited certification program (e.g. NSF, UL EPH, UL Sanitation, CSA Sanitation, or ETL Sanitation).
