    Observed flies in the facility. [CA] Food facility shall be kept free of non-disease carrying insects, weevils, ants, gnats, and fruit flies.

  • K35: Equipment, utensils: Approved, in good repair, adequate capacity

    Observed use of cardboard boxes as shelf liner throughout the facility. [CA] Discontinue the use of cardboard boxes to line shelves/flooring, use approved equipment made of materials that is easily cleanable, durable, smooth, and nonabsorbent.

    Observed fly sticky roll hanging from the wall near office. [CA] Use approved methods to eliminate flies. Observed side door near prep area open. [CA] Keep back door closed at all times to prevent the entrance and harborage of vermin. Observed unorganized and cluttered corners in prep area near hand wash sink and walk in cooler. [CA] The premises of a food facility shall be kept clean fully operative, and in good repair. Maintain boxes 6 inches above the floor and away from the walls for access to clean under and around the racks.
