ROUTINE INSPECTION

4 reported violations
  • K35: Equipment, utensils: Approved, in good repair, adequate capacity

The bottom shelves where the chips are stored has accumulated food particles throughout the length of it. [CA] Thoroughly clean the shelves. The dairy walk in has liners with indented surfaces that are accumulating mold/mildew- like growth. [CA] This liner is not recommended since it has the indented surface which makes it more difficult to properly wash and sanitize and easier to grow mold/mildew. Wash and sanitize these if they are going to be reused.

  • K39: Thermometers provided, accurate

Observed a few thermometers not working in the dairy/yogurt display units. [CA] Replace the broken thermometers.

  • K23: No rodents, insects, birds, or animals

Observed 2 dogs in the store. [CA] [CA] No live animals may be allowed in a food facility, except in the following situations; decorative fish or shellfish in aquarium, animals intended for consumption if kept separated from other food and food contact surfaces, dogs under the control of on-duty uniformed law enforcement or private patrol, outdoor dining areas, and service animals.

  • K45: Floor, walls, ceilings: built,maintained, clean

The walls in the janitors sink are are soiled and in disrepair. [CA] Clean and repair the walls where needed.
