FOLLOW-UP INSPECTION
- On-site for follow-up inspection to verify compliance of K23m - observation of rodents, insects, birds, or animals. - Facility has conducted the following: - All shelving in the warehouse has been modified to provide permanent shelving off of the floor. - Pallets previously used to stored food off of the floor has been removed for ease of cleaning and monitoring of traps. - Additional shelving are being installed to reduce the use of pallets in the facility. - Previously inoperable roll-up door has been repaired to separate the main warehouse from the staging/dumpster area. - Owners will be discussing with plaza landlord regarding the removal of vegetation on the side of the warehouse. - Affected areas have been cleaned and sanitized of rodent droppings. Any and all contaminated food was discarded per supervisor. - Per supervisor, frequency of service has been increased to twice weekly until vermin has been abated.

Facility is currently operating a live molluscan shellfish tank without an approved Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) plan from the California Department of Public Health. [CA] The food facility shall obtain a HACCP plan approval prior to operating a molluscan shellfish life-support system. Facility is to immediate cease and desist usage of the system. [COS] Water from tank was immediately drained. All shellstock was maintained on ice.
